Dental panoramic tomography, also known as “OPG, pan, pano, DPT, …” is a common imaging tool in dentistry. However, interpretation of tomographic images of the dentomaxillofacial complex can be challenging. Therefore, understanding the principles of tomography is essential. During this lecture contains numerous images to explain the theory behind the technique, anatomy and pathology.
