In this session we will emphasize the importance of balancing between the opacity and translucency, and how this relationship is essential in the layering technique of anterior restorations. The color is less important than shape and texture and only with perfect anatomy is it possible to make “invisible restorations” instead of “tooth colored restorations”. What we need are recipes for layering: the IN and the OUT concept. The phliosphy of “Style Italiano Shade Guide” is to easily obtain invisible predictable restorations, and the concept will be demonstrated step by through showing clinical cases.
