This lecture is designed to increase the understanding how to monitor clients that have had surgical procedures. As a hygienist, we often have clients who undergo surgical procedures, tissue grafts, pocket reduction therapy, implant placement, sinus lifts and so forth. We know it isn’t our responsibility to ensure the procedure is successful, however we are responsible for assisting our clients in the maintenance of their oral health.
