Dr. Federico Ferraris acquired his DDS from the Dental School at Genoa University in 1999, and acted as National President of AISO (Italian Association of Dental Students) between 1997 and 1999. He has lectured as a professor at Genoa University in 2002 and 2003, teaching the operative course program. In addition to this, Dr. Ferraris co-authored several Italian and international scientific publications, including a book on prosthodontics entitled ‘Precision in Dental Esthetics’ (2004) by D. Massironi, R. Pascetta and G. Romeo. Dr. Ferraris is highly involved in the dental community, being an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry from 2006, the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry from 2007, the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry from 2011, and the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry Editorial Board. Furthermore, he is an active and founding member of the Interdisciplinary Gymnasium CAD CAM. Recently, Dr. Ferraris has is a visiting professor in Esthetic Dentistry at the CEU University San Pablo in Madrid and has spoken at dental congresses and conducted courses. His practice in Alessandria, Italy-- his home city-- specializes in operative dentistry and prosthodontics, in collaboration with the dental clinics of Giano and Andrea Ricci (Florence) and Giulio Rasperini (Piacenza).
