Mr. Rochestie started off with a business degree in Finance and Economics from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance and Commerce. He then went on to law school where he received his Juris Doctorate from the National Law Center at George Washington University. After receiving his law degree, he earned a Masters of Law at Harvard Law School. At Harvard Law School, Mr. Rochestie taught part-time and subsequently helped to create the original programs of clinical education for law students.
Mr. Rochestie practiced law as a trial attorney in Boston, Massachusetts and started a company that grew to 22 locations, and was able to retire at age 37. In 1986, Mr. Rochestie became a Mercer client. Mercer then recruited him to head up the technical services division of the firm; he then was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1988. Mr. Rochestie purchased Mercer with three partners in 1989. He is currently Co-owner/Director and is the chief spokesperson for the Company.
